最近はすっかりShe & Himの人というイメージになってきたM. Wardの待望のニュー・アルバム『A Wasteland Companion』がMergeから4月10日にリリース。ソロでは3年振りですね。その中から収録曲 “The First Time I Ran Away” のビデオが公開されました。アルバムにはGiant SandのHowe GelbやJohn Parishといった旧知の面々やもちろんShe & HimのZooey Deschanel、他にはBright EyesのMike Mogis、Sonic YouthのSteve Shelleyなどなどゲストが多数参加しているとのことです。
